- You do not need to include image files, prompts, metadata, or local folder names in the first message.
- Helpful details include Kujaku version/build, macOS version, reproduction steps, and screenshots that do not contain images or prompts.
- You can copy the Kujaku version/build, macOS version, and machine model in one step from the menu bar via Help → Copy Version Info. The same Help menu links to this support page and the privacy policy.
- Review diagnostic logs before sharing them.
- If an older Kujaku shows a message saying your library was created by a newer version of Kujaku (for example after a manual downgrade), the library has not been changed. Updating to the latest Kujaku restores it as-is, including favorites, delete candidates, and other review states.
- If update checks fail, a signature error appears, or Gatekeeper blocks the app from launching, send the message shown, the version/build, macOS version, download URL, and the timestamp.
- If a signature failure occurs, we'll check the signature error shown, the source URL, the download timestamp, and what Gatekeeper displayed. If your macOS version isn't supported, we'll walk you through the supported version range, the last Kujaku build available for it, or whether you'll need to wait for a future update.
- If update checks keep failing, we'll walk you through downloading the latest signed build manually from the official download page. If a release turns out to have a known problem, we'll announce which versions are affected and which build to go back to; when a fixed build ships, we'll announce its version and what to re-check — on the support page or in the release notes.
- Kujaku supports NovelAI PNG metadata but is not an official or affiliated NovelAI app. Questions about NovelAI accounts, the NovelAI API, or the image-generation service itself are outside Kujaku support scope.
